Ted Nugent: "Execute Me!"

The wingnuts have been making a huge idiotic deal out of a liberal blogger supposedly calling for the deaths of Rush Limbaugh and Ted Nugent; Pre-Emptive Karma does an excellent take-down. It's the same old stupidity every time.

What the wingnuts aren't talking about so much is Nugent calling for his own death.

In March, Nugent had a commentary in the Waco Tribune that included this bit:
I want all child molesters executed, not just murderers like John Couey. I do not care if the child molester is Couey or a priest. Execute all of them. The sooner the better.
Oh really, Ted? Let's go to Mark Kleiman:
Reportedly Nugent admitted/bragged about multiple sexual encounters with minors in his interview with Behind the Music. On the same show, Nugent explained how he persuaded the parents of his seventeen-year-old girlfriend to make him her legal guardian on the theory that this would allow him to bang her with impunity....Courtney Love reportedly told Howard Stern that she gave Nugent oral sex when she was 12 and he was 28. Apparently when Nugent wrote the song "Jail Bait" he knew what he was talking about. Too bad he never experienced the "jail" part.
"Execute all of them. The sooner the better." Huh.

Ted Nugent, by the way, has endorsed Fred Thompson. Isn't it time for reporters to start asking Thompson if he accepts the endorsement of a confessed child molester?
